ALTA VALLE WINERY

Alta Valle Enterprises (AVE) Winery and Valley High Vineyards are family-owned, craft grape growers and farm-based wine producers. We are members of the Maryland Grape Growers Association and the Maryland Winery Association, and we support Carroll County Ag-Tourism. Our vineyards were established in 2019, our winery began production in 2023, and our tasting room opened on a limited basis in 2026.

AVE Winery is a craft winery where every bottle is handcrafted from start to finish. Each vintage changes annually, shaped by the terroir. Our base wines are handpicked, processed, fermented, and refined on site. Because we operate on a small scale, we can create specialty wines for holidays and events.

Our family vintners will be on site to answer questions about grape growing and wine production. Wines will be available for purchase, along with holiday gift packages.
